Stress Susceptibility Chart : Short test

The answers can be only ,yes, often or  no.

  1.  do you do most things as quickly as you can?
  2. do you have short temper?
  3. Do you take work home weekends or on holidays?
  4. do you try to do more than one thing at a time?
  5. do you find it hard to tolerate delays?
  6. do you always prefer competitive games?
  7. do you get impatient when you see some one doing something slower than you could do it?

  9. do you feel gulty when you relax & do nothing?
  10. do you believe that you yourself only can do job well?









5 or more yes will indicate a high stress level,and 5 or more nos' will indicate hypo-stress.which means low stress level.

Stress Management

most of the stress that people encounter in their lives comes from the never ending struggle to control over all of  the outside factors in our life,The problem is as we often fail to understand that gaining full control over our outer world is virtually impossible.so the main thing we should understand that we cant eliminate stress from our life.as JUNG said "we cant change anything unless we accept it ,condemnation does not liberate ,it oppresses."So internal resources should be more than demand or at least equals to stress inorder to cope wit it.

 Prof .Hans Selye is the father of the term "Stress"(1936). Our response to any situation ,we find challenging frightening or difficult is known as stress.Crossing  the boundaries of tolerance level of mind when mental state harmful,uneasy and reactive in mind and body ,that is known as stress.




Tips

Mild or less stress inspire ,stimulate life.It plays an important role in our life to progress.This stress is known as U-stress.

but 

Medium or excessive stress which destroy our happiness cut down our daily productivity and deteriorate our interpersonal relationship ,that is called
Distress
