WHY TIME MANAGEMENT


to utilise the available time in optimum manner to achieve one's personal and professional goal.

 Quadrant 1-Do Now
  • represents things that are both "urgent" and "Important-We need to spend time here
  • here we manage ,produce and bring our experience,judgement in response to needs and exchanges.
  • Many important activities become urgent through procrastination or because we don't do enough preventions and planning.
 Quadrant 2-Plant to do
Quadrant of Quality

  • Includes activities that are important but not urgent
  • here we do our long range palnning
  • anticipate and prevent problems
  • empower others broden and our minds and increase our skills
  • ignoring tis quadrant 1,creates stress ,burnout and deeper crisis.
Quadrant 3-Reject & Explaine
Quadrant of Deception

  • includes things that are urgent but not important
  • the noise of urgency creates the illusion of importance
  • actual activities ,if they'se importanr at all,are important to some one else
  •  many phone calls,meetingss and drop-in visitors fall in to this catagory
Quadrant 4-resist and cease
Quadtrant of Waste
  • reserved for activities that are not urgent not important
  • we often escape to quadtrant 4 for survival
  • reading addictive novels,watching mindless tv,gossiping at offfice would qualify  as quadrants 4 -time wasters.

being slave to the telephone
