Is it the FACT ,or your OPINION??

hi greetings for the day!!

"We must have strong minds, ready to accept facts as they are."-Harry S Truman

In our daily life we come across many people or situation where the facts and personal opinions get jumbled up together. An aspiring counselor or even a normal person should be able to distinguish between these two. If you are able to do it properly then most of the problems will get a solution, it will become lot more easier to solve problems, which are minor but an inflated opinion has made it gigantic.
While I was having a conversation with a person, he was narrating a story about a retired man who had lost the half of his provident fund through an unwise investment. The exact words of that person were: I have lost my all money by investing unwisely. My family and I will have to live our live in poverty and disgrace, thorough the rest of the life.
Here you can see the man has talked about only one fact, rest of it was his opinion – here the man is making a grave mistake .So accepting your Opinion as the Fact can ruin you!!So by taking just one fact and magnifying it by your opinion , will only send you to a wrong conclusion.
His opinion “My family and I will have to live our live in poverty and disgrace, through the rest of the life.” It’s no way a fact!!
1. Because if he continues to invest unwisely again and again, it might become a reality. From this experience, he should learn a lesson.
2. Losing money in unwise investment is no disgrace—many people get double back what they had lost in an investment.
3. Family living in poverty is ridiculous opinion-he still has half of his money in his hand.
So people should build their life on facts, which can be accurately traced back to their very origin, not on some out of the proportion imagination which is rooted in biased opinions .No preconceived ideas or anxious opinion should take out the beauty of a fact. You can always get back to the source of the fact to double check before making any decision based on that particular fact. Because dependability of a judgment always depends on your ability to separate facts from the opinion ----make the decisions based on FACT.
