Life is much shorter..even than a Year!!

One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure its worth watching. 

 How quickly another year has come to its end.....soon we will start living the year 2013..and perhaps we will forget about all the personal mile-stones which 2012 brought..So many resolutions were broken or discarded.When we look back to take an account of those soon-to-be-gone 12 months,we often left with a funny smile only to realize how little we could live,work,enjoy or help..

we are often so preoccupied with useful and useless jobs equally that a whole year passes by but we hardly care..how many of us maintain a yearly personal-growth account?"Life is short" ,this idea never get chance to sink deep into our understanding..may be due to lack of planning,desire or other regular jobs.eventually another year slips through our finger.That last day is always enjoyed and  resolutions are made just to be broken again...

The sense of time  is not equal to every one..some people tends to think  that 1 minute is like an hour,and some people might think just opposite...this difference is reflected on their accomplishments..hence time management is a MUST-HAVE resolution this year so that we can use time in an optimum way...

this game I learned many years ago..lets play it in our mind..(visualize!!)

Take a 10 inches of a ribbon
Suppose its equal to 100 years

A person lives up to 70 years,averagely.
 if 30 years =3 inches
 cut off the 3 inches from that ribbon.
now you have 7 inches of ribbon left.

averagely a person takes 20 years   to complete his studies and choose a goal.
if 20 years=2 inches
cut off 2 inches from the 7 inches ribbon
so 5 inches are left

we have to count 8 hours of sleep too!!
we sleep 1/3 of our life...
if we have 50 years left then
50/3=16.66
lets make it 17

50-17=33
So we have 33 years left.But dont forget that within that life ,we might have major illnesses or old age related problems as well as few unforeseen troubles. if these  take off 2 years from our life then we are left with 31years.

so we have got these priceless 31years!!we have these years to prove ourselves to the world,build a future and leave a legacy behind.A famous quote goes like:"every man dies-not everyman really lives",now I can understand the meaning more than ever.People might misinterpret leaving-a-legacy part.Being remembered as a kind,honest, helping person is enough of a legacy to leave behind.

lets enjoy the year till it lasts but when the Sun rise above the horizon,let us understand this fact that we have so much to offer and we owe it to our society and Earth.
