When life throws an opportunity at us,we need to use our own capabilities and talents to make it work .So the relation between these two factors cant be denied.lets take an example. think of our life path as a bottle .The more higher the life path is ,the bigger the bottle is.life path 1 has the smallest bottle and life path 2 has some what larger bottle,so on.Imagine that you are filling the bottle with a liquid which is represented by the expression number.A 1expression number represents just a little bit of liquid and 9 expression number will represents much more liquid.so when the larger bottle has little drops of the liquid or the smallest bottle has a large amount of liquids then the things get messy.
A person who has 11 life path and 1 expression number will have to work harder to use his abilities to take the advantages of the opportunities which are presented in his life time.The combination is ineffective,which will produce a sense of frustration in the mind of that person.
effectiveness of your life can be found by following 2 steps.
A.we need to find the difference of these two numbers. we can minus the lower number from the higher number .example: 9-1=8 spaces.
B.consult the table below.
Life path higher than the expression by 6 or more spaces.
you have to work hard to find right environment to make use of your natural talents.you may become impatient, you feel people don't understand you. your growth and developments will proceed very slowly ,which can be a source of frustration.learn to pursue your main lesson (LIFE PATH) at the natural pace that presents itself..be positive.
Life path higher than expression by 3,4,or 5 spaces.
Opportunity are there but you need to work hard to take advantages of those.You must push yourself to that limit.this will lead your to your growth.spend time and effort appraising your strength and weakness.awareness about your potential will lead you to a positive development.Be realistic when examining available opportunities.
Life path higher or lower than expression by 1 or 2 spaces
you have potential to take advantage of the opportunity, quite easily.your natural abilities will find channels to get expressed.The environment will allow your talents to be displayed and appreciated.these things will bring much satisfaction in your life.
Life path lower than expression number by 3,4 or 5 spaces.
opportunities are present but not as many as you would like,often in an unclear and deceptive from.Learn to evaluate your opportunities. if you have deceived or have been deceived , don't continue on but change the direction..you have to develop your talents on your own-the people surrounded ,will rarely help you.develop faith in your capabilities rather that expecting aid from out side yourself.have patience even though your development proceeds more slowly than you prefer.

what happens when this space-difference is 7 or more in either way?
its an ineffective combination it only gives frustration and disappointment.
